Terms of
service.
Last updated: October 2026. These terms cover purchasing and using KM Role Play: what you get, what you may not do, and how liability works. The license itself is defined in the EULA.
1. Acceptance
By purchasing, downloading or using KM Role Play you agree to these Terms of Service and the End User License Agreement.
2. Purchase and license
KM Role Play is sold as a one-time purchase — a perpetual, personal license to use the software. There are no subscriptions and no recurring fees. Prices are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase and may change for future customers.
You receive a license key tied to the email address used at purchase. You are responsible for keeping the email address and purchase record accessible, since they are used for license recovery and support.
3. Free trial
KM Role Play offers a free trial of 3 days from first activation, once per email address. The trial includes the full feature set. Trial versions perform the same license checks described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Permitted use
You may use KM Role Play for personal, lawful purposes. You may not use it to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, or involves real people without their consent. You remain responsible for the content you create with the software.
5. Content ownership
Your characters, conversations and local data belong to you. They are stored on your machine and are not transmitted to us except as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Availability and updates
KM Role Play is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may release updates, add or remove characters and features, and change system requirements over time. We do not guarantee that any specific feature or character will remain available indefinitely.
7. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, AND WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SOFTWARE IS ERROR-FREE OR THAT IT WILL RUN ON EVERY CONFIGURATION MEETING THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA OR CONTENT, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR IT.
9. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
10. Termination
We may terminate your access to the software if you breach these terms or the EULA. You may stop using the software at any time. Termination does not affect your statutory rights.
11. Governing law
To the extent not preempted by mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction, these terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where you reside.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Significant changes will be noted on this page. Continued use of the software after a change means you accept the updated terms.
